Returning made to order items
All of our chesterfield sofas are made to order.
If you do decide that you no longer wish to retain a made to order product, or wish to cancel an order of a made to order product, any refund amount will be subject to a cancellation fee that covers any costs that we have incurred.
We cannot refund orders which have been produced correctly and within our manufacturing tolerances. By placing an order with us you enter a contract with us. We are obliged contractually to make and deliver your order to the specifications outlined on your order confirmation.
As our made to order products fall outside the scope of distance selling regulations, you will not be entitled to a refund if you send them back to us, and you will continue to retain ownership of the goods.
Return of the orders to us does not entitle you to a full refund of purchase price or postage costs incurred. The goods will remain the customer’s property and until we accept or an independent authority stipulates that the goods are damaged.
What if my order is defective?
The majority of deliveries are made by us directly from our workshop. As we handle the goods throughout the process, damage very rarely occurs. Nevertheless, you should carefully check your order when it arrives. If any defects are found, we will either repair them at no cost or offer a suitable replacement.
What if my order doesn’t fit into my house?
It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture you order will fit into your home. If it is not viable to deliver your order due to its size, we will endeavour to work with you to find an appropriate solution. This is not limited to, but normally includes an alternative piece of furniture of the same value which will fit.
You retain ownership of the goods you purchase from us even if they do not fit into your property. If they have to be brought back to our facility, you may be liable for any carriage and storage costs which arise because of this.
